I think I have always aspired to be artistic. I grew up watching my dad and my older brother draw and in that I strived to be as good as they were. My first ever attempt at painting was with oils: a rather crude rendition of Leon Russell. I sporadically painted with acrylics over the following years: limiting myself to exclusively an occasional dog portrait. It wasn’t until 2017 that painting became actually meaningful and it is that sort of purpose has enabled me to create the paintings that I do today.
